We operate the MEDCROSS App by Sugar Clinic to provide healthcare services to individuals affected by tuberculosis (TB) and diabetes. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in simple language.

1. What We Collect

• Profile info: name, age, mobile number, email you provide
• Health info: Sugar or diabetes symptoms, lab results, and test reports you upload
• Device & usage: phone model, crash logs, screens you tap

2. Why We Use It (Healthcare Purposes)

We use your data only to deliver and improve healthcare, specifically for:

• Diseases & Conditions Management – track TB and diabetes status and monitor progress
• Clinical Decision Support – help doctors decide appropriate tests and treatments
• Disease Prevention & Public Health – comply with Indian health laws and create anonymized statistics
• Healthcare Services & Management – register patients, book appointments, and maintain medical records
• Medication & Treatment Management – share prescriptions with pharmacies, test orders with labs, send dosage reminders and alerts
• App improvement & security – fix bugs, measure app usage, prevent fraud
• Legal compliance – fulfill obligations under Indian health laws

We never sell your data. We may share only the minimum required information with partner pharmacies and diagnostic labs to ensure your medicines are delivered and tests are conducted.

• Edit or delete your data (medical records are retained up to 8 years as required under Indian Medical Council guidelines.)
• Turn off analytics in the app settings

• Only authorized staff can access your data, and regular security reviews are conducted

6. Children

The MEDCROSS app is not intended for users under 13 years. Parents or guardians can contact us to have a child’s data removed.

By installing or using MEDCROSS by Sugar Clinic, you accept this privacy policy. We will notify users of any major changes at least 7 days in advance via in-app messages or email.
